ItThis Code Vein Guide to Building we’ll explore just exactly how you make the Adrenaline Rush Build, which is a Halberd DPS BuildThis focuses on extremely fast combinations. You want to make the most of your computer. Weapons Blood VeilsYour Blood CodeYour, GiftsAre you curious? Well that’s exactly what we’re going to cover, and how they all fit together to create the Adrenaline Rush Build.

Code Vein Builds: Adrenaline Rush (Scout)

You can get very high burst damage from the Adrenaline Rush Builder by using the Chariot Rush’s best Skill Gift. This weapon does 10% more damage that Circulating Pulse and can be snuck in with minimal damage. You cannot combine this Halberd-exclusive Gift with other weapons. Shadow Assault can be added to it (at level 100) for additional 10,000 damage, or you can just use it whenever you are in need.

The Adrenaline Rush Blood Codes

You can choose from several Halberd types Blood Codes in Code Vein, and you won’t begin the game with them all. In this section I’ll discuss which Blood Codes to use while you are working your way to your final destination: Scout. The most obvious is Fighter.

Fighter

The Strength and Dexterity scaling of fighters is decent, allowing them to effectively use early-game Halberds. It has a terrible Stat spread for all the buffs you’ll need, but luckily you won’t have them all so early on. As soon as possible, upgrade to Prometheus.

Prometheus

Prometheus scores at least B in all stats, Mind and Dexterity being both B+. You can’t ask for more. You can keep this code until Queenslayer is gained. It’s the best Blood Code for early games.

Queenslayer

Once you finish your own personal memory you’ll gain the Queenslayer Blood Code, which is perfect for this Build. You can use any buffs you want, as it has both Mind Scaling and good Dexterity. The best buff is in Final Journey. However, even with this buff it outperforms all other Blood Codes for Dexterity-based Halberds except Scout. This means you’ll be doing near maximum damage, even when you’re not using Final Journey, and it’s just the icing on the cake.

Scout

Scout is what you’ll be using out on the landscape because it has Quick mobility by default, and will allow you to use Noble Silver and still be Quick if you’re using the Impaler. Due to its Skill Gifts, this build is Ichor hungry. Make sure you swap to Queenslayer during boss fights to take extra damage.

Adrenaline Rush Blood Veils

Blood Veils play a very important role in the effectiveness of Gifts. To determine the strength of your buffs, your Blood Code and Blood Veil are combined. Weapon having no impact here. Look for Blood Veils that provide decent protection and a greater overall Light Gift Value when choosing one.

There are a few things I do at the end of a game. The first is that I enjoy exploring the game with it. Noble Silver Blood Veil. It’s the second lightest in the game, and when combined with an Alleviating ImpalerThis will place you in the Quick mobility area. Your damage will remain roughly the same amount as it would be for a normal. ImpalerBecause we use Swift DestructionYou will get those extra dodges.

Second, it’s my favorite. White VestmentWhen fighting Bosses and weight doesn’t matter because of Final JourneyThis makes it easy to move around no matter your weight. These can be swapped depending on your current situation or the Boss. Sometimes, Noble Silver can give you an extra boost.

Adrenaline Rush Weapons

Two different weapons are used in this build: ImpalerAnd the Argent Wolf PoleaxeYou can find it here. The Impaler Spear is unique in its ability to perform exceptional moves. You can attack faster than most One-Handed Swords. This prevents you getting trapped in long, twirling animations that could get you killed. You can also use it to get Quick mobility.

The Argent Wolf Poleaxe hits the hardest of any Dexterity scaling Polearms I have tested, but it has an absolute shit moveset and it’s quite heavy. If you’re just using the item with Chariot RushThis makes it much easier to take down multiple things with the Impaler. You can use this weapon to take down difficult targets quickly. After that, swap to the Impaler. Scout should be used if this weapon is being used more often.

Gifts for the Adrenaline Rush

GiftsA vital component of any Build is the Light Gifts. This is especially true for a build like this that depends heavily on them. There are a number of excellent Light Gifts, many of which are defensive, however for this Build, we’ll focus primarily on the offensive ones. Two Skills that I’ve never used in any previous Build will be also utilized.

Gifts initially can only be used with the Blood Code that they are part of, but as you use them in combat you will “master” them, and then you can use them with any Blood Code. There are both passive and active Gifts, and I’ll cover which are good in both categories for a The Adrenaline Rush is a powerful stimulantIt is possible to have a maximum of 4 Passive Gifts at once. There are only 4 active Passive gifts that can be equipped simultaneously. Let’s begin with the recommended Passives first:

Get Passive Gifts for Adrenaline Rush

  • Swift Destruction – This passive increases your damage for being light weight, which you will be when using an Alleviating Impaler and Ivory Grace. This applies to Argent Wolf poleaxe too, but to a less extent unless Final Journey is used.
  • Halberd Mastery – This passive will buff your Halberd damage by more than you’d think, and is a must for this build.
  • Mind/Willpower Up – This passive is a must because it will allow you to meet the requirements for Bridge to Glory. It’s one of the best buffs in the game, so you definitely want it.
  • Increased Gift Speed – This passive will make both your Chariot Rush and your Shadow Assault complete much faster. You can get inside, hit these, and then get out quickly.

Get Active Gifts for Adrenaline Rush

  • Adrenaline – This will boost your damage per swing modestly for a modest amount of time. It’s good early on, but not as great later.
  • Overdrive – A great Gift that boosts damage for you and your companion until you are struck. Don’t get hit, and you gain extra damage!
  • Blood Sacrifice – You’ll need this to stack buffs because this is a very Ichor hungry Build. It can be used to increase Ichor.
  • Gift Extension – It increases the duration of your buffs by 50%, and since we use a lot, it comes in handy.
  • Bridge to Glory – One of the best buffs in the game, it will boost your damage significantly for a very long time. You won’t get it until much later in the game.
  • Final Journey – This is your Boss killer Gift. You can activate this gift before Boss fights so they are taken down quickly. You will get a damage boost equal to 50% of the value you already have.
  • Chariot Rush – Unique only to Halberds, this Skill does incredible damage, and it does it in a hurry. It can cause severe damage if used often.
  • Shadow Assault – Good alone, but particularly deadly when used at the end of Chariot Rush. This Build is level 100 and does approximately 10k damage. That’s a lot for just 3 Ichor. It executes at a lightning fast speed.

Final Adrenaline Rush Tips

Of all the BuildsThis one has the best sustained DPS, according to me. Halberds have excellent “Stagger” build-up when they strike, particularly the Impaler, and this allows you many more openings to attacks enemies than you might usually get with One-Handed Weapons. If you feel you’re running low on stamina, you might consider adding Tirelessness to your arsenal.

Chariot Rush can be purchased for as low as 4 Ichor. It is barely bettered by Dragon Lunge, which can’t be used with Halberds. You can also hit more consistently because the Halberd has better tracking. The Halberd is faster per attack than the Two Handed Sword, and has about the same burst power if it’s used correctly. You can also dodge out of Chariot Rush if you don’t think you can pull off the last strike without getting hit, making it very flexible.

Finally, Obliterator Axe works exceptionally well, but it uses Strength scaling, which isn’t ideal because Queenslayer has more Dexterity Scaling. Still if you’d rather use it than the Argent Wolf Poleaxe because of its shitty moveset, you can do so with only a small loss in damage. You can use Ishtar while you progress through levels to increase your damage. Then, swap to Queenslayer once you have reached Bosses.
