Worst Case Scenario: The Bucks have a high floor reasonable, except for catastrophic injury to Giannis and a large number Bucks players. Each Giannis (15), Middleton (16), Jrue Holiday (15) missed at most 15 games last season. The Bucks finished third in Eastern Conference. Giannis as Defensive Player Of The Year (+1000) is one angle that has legitimate value. Giannis won the DPOY award in 2019-20 as the Bucks had one of the highest Defensive Ratings in the NBA. Giannis won the DPOY award in that season. Brook Lopez Locking down the middle forced teams to struggle on the paint. Lopez missed 69 of the last season due to a back injury but is now fully recovered. With Holiday, who was twice All-Defensive First Team, as a perimeter defender, Giannis and Lopez reestablishing that front line, the Bucks could again be an elite defense this season, with Giannis as the recognized anchor. Other DPOY favorites include Robert Williams III currently hurt Draymond Green In two of the three previous seasons, he has played 46 games or less. Rudy Gobert Is on a team with unknown levels support. Giannis would be a favourite for the award, given his long odds.
