According to indictment Calvin Ridley, Atlanta Falcons, is one of the targets of celebrity home robberies gang-related to gangs.

Fani Willis, Fulton County District Attorney, stated that the charges against her include carjacking and kidnapping as well as armed robbery and shootings. She also said that the Drug Rich Gang was responsible for the crimes. The gang she claimed emerged in 2016 in a nearby county. Willis claimed that celebrities were not the only victims. Social media influencers were also targeted in burglaries and home invasions.

“What they do, is target people who post their wealth on social networks,” she explained. “So, I have a message to the public: While it can be fun to show off your wealth on social media, these gangs are getting more sophisticated and savvy in how they target you.

Willis had another message for the gangsters: “If Fulton is a good place to commit your crimes and bring your violence, then you are wrong. Today is the beginning of some of those consequences.”

Willis stated that the indictment filed last week was a collaboration among different law enforcement agencies. Willis said that cracking down on gangs was a priority and that she plans to pursue harsh penalties for those involved in violent gang activity.
