In a video posted to his Twitter accountRoethlisberger revealed what was obvious during the 2021 season’s final weeks.
Roethlisberger described the exhilarating journey as “exciting, fueled with a spirit of competition.” “But it is time to get out of my locker, put my cleats on and be the best father I can be for my family. I am truly thankful that I retired from football as a man of gratitude.”
Roethlisberger had a promising future Hall of Fame career, with two Super Bowl victories, Rookie of The Year honors and the fifth most passing yards (64,088).
