After McDonald’s guard was hit, Ben Gordon is arrested again.

CHICAGO — Police say that Ben Gordon, a former NBA guard, was punched in his face by a Chicago McDonald's security officer.

Gordon has been charged for battery causing bodily damage and battery making physical contact. Chicago Tribune reported Saturday.

Gordon, 39 years old, played for four NBA teams and was arrested Friday morning by police after they responded to a call about a disturbance from a man being taken from McDonald's.

A 29 year-old man was struck in his face and thrown to ground. A 21 year old man was pushed to the ground and also thrown. Both men refused medical assistance.

According to police, Gordon was taken into custody on the spot.

Gordon was last month charged in New York with assault, resisting arrest and contempt for allegedly punching a young boy at LaGuardia Airport.

According to the Queens district Attorney's office, witnesses, including an American Airlines employee witnessed Gordon yell at his child and punch him repeatedly in the face after he dropped a book.

Gordon later told police it was his son. Gordon allegedly also assaulted officers when they tried to handcuff him.

Joshua Kirshner is an attorney representing Gordon. The AP left a message asking Kirshner for comment on Saturday.
