The Miami DolphinsI have claimed to be working again Phillip LindsayMike McCartney, Mike’s agent, presented Wednesday with waivers.
Lindsay had been waived Tuesday afternoon by the Houston Texans.
Lindsay has joined a Miami backfield which includes starters Myles Gaskin, Patrick Laird Salvon Ahmed.
Lindsay signed a $3.25m one-year contract with $1 million guaranteed and $500,000 in incentives. He rushed for 130 yards this season and made a landing in 50 attempts. He also received a landing touchdown.
He was a part the group of veterans working backs which Nick Caserio, the Texans regular supervisor signed in the offseason. Houston traded Mark IngramTo the New Orleans SaintsLast month of working backs David Johnson Rex BurkheadOn the roster. Houston also added work again Royce Freeman.
When the offseason began, the Professional Bowl worked again. Denver BroncosThey canceled the RFA tender they had placed on him. This would have allowed them match any contract, but wouldn’t have provided compensation to the crew if he signed somewhere else.
In his two first seasons with the Broncos, he rushed for more than 1,000 yards. He also had 2,550 rushing yards in his three seasons with Denver. He also ran 17 touchdowns.
