The Worcester Warriors and Alex Hearle have reached an agreement for a two-year extension to their contract.

Hearle, 23 years old, has scored five tries in his 18 appearances this season. Hearle also scored a hat trick against the Exeter Chiefs.

The Warriors academy product also played in their Premiership Cup final victory against London Irish earlier this year.

Hearle stated, “I have learned so much and I cannot wait to play more rugby in front Worcester supporters.”

“I grew up in Sixways and used to come to Sixways with my family to watch Sixways games as a child. It's great to be part of this team.”

Hearle is now the fourth Worcester player to sign new contracts since their cup success. Justin Clegg, Ashley Beck and Tom Howe were also signed.
