Amy Cokayne: Harlequins and England hooker sign new agreement to Premier15s champions

Amy Cokayne chose to represent England, despite having spent part of her childhood living in New Zealand.

Amy Cokayne, an England hooker has renewed her deal with Harlequins for the 2021-22 season.

After two years spent with Wasps, she has joined the club in 2019.

Cokayne: “As a result of last year’s successes, I am really excited to see where we can go as a team and program on the field.” told the Harlequins website.

She was part of England’s 2017 World Cup team and played in 57 internationals. Her contributions have been 70.

Gerard Mullen, Quins head coach, said that Amy is “one of, if no longer the best hooker of world rugby” and was thrilled for her to sign with Harlequins in time for the new season.

She is an excellent leader in the Quins group and sets high standards every day.”

Harlequins will begin their new season on Sunday, September 5th with a home match against Loughborough Lightning.
