Comtois was granted a two-year contract through the 2022/23 season, and Jones was given a three year agreement until 2024. Mahura’s contract is only valid for 2 years. Jones was awarded a 3-year agreement through 2024.

Comtois was last year’s NHL goal leader. The forward had 16 goals and 33 points in 55 games. Comtois (a 22 year old forward) was second in Anaheim’s scoring list, behind only twenty-year-olds. Paul KariyaIn 1994-1995

Comtois earned six points for Canada in the victory team of the IIHF World Championship June.

Jones was a Ducks player who scored 11 points in his 46 games. Jones’s somewhat disappointing offensive stats mirror nearly every Anaheim player who is low-scoring. Jones (23 years old) was chosen in the first round 2016 and remains a key part of Anaheim’s youthful core.

Anaheim had four points last year when Mahura was a part of thirteen Anaheim games. He was the Ducks’ best affiliate in San Diego and spent much of the season as the AHL’s leading goal-scorer among defensemen.
