After four seasons as a Scarlett, Angus O'Brien, a versatile back, will join Dragons in 2022-23.
Since moving to west Wales in 2018, the 27-year-old flyhalf or fullback has appeared in 41 games.
He has returned having scored twice for Scarlets at Rodney ParadeIn their revenge United Rugby Championship win of 23 April.
O'Brien said, “I'm excited that I'm returning to Rodney Parade”
“I have loved my four seasons at Scarlets. It's been an amazing experience for me. I've also learned a lot of valuable lessons that I can bring with me to the Dragons.
“I went through the academy at Dragons and grew with many of the players so it is exciting to be back working with them.”
Dean Ryan, Dragons boss said that Ryan has a wealth and experience returning with him which will allow us to play the game in a completely new way.
“Angus is a talented, versatile player who will really contribute to the competition that we have for fly-half or full-back jerseys.”
Jon Daniels, Scarlets general manager of Rugby said that Angus has been a valuable member of the Scarlets squad over the past four years. We'd like him to be thanked for all he did for the Scarlets both on and off the pitch and for the dedication and pride he showed when wearing the Scarlets jersey.

O'Brien will make a comeback as new recruits Sio Tomkinson (Rhodri), Bradley Roberts (Max Clark), George Nott, and Sean Lonsdale arrive at Rodney Parade.
