Atlanta Falcons are believed to be the first NFL football team to become 100% vaccine-vaccinated against COVID-19

It Atlanta FalconsThe team confirmed that they are 100% vaccinated and told ESPN Monday. They are the first NFL team to achieve this feat.

Atlanta is proactive in vaccinating the community, providing vaccines for the preseason game on Friday and team practice at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this month.

Five players were on the Reserve/COVID-19 List at the beginning of training camp. However, all five have been removed since then.

The NFL’s medical officer Dr. Allen Sills had stated in an earlier briefing that Atlanta was among two teams affected by the COVID-19 virus.

These are subjective terms. After Sills’ remarks, Arthur Smith, Falcons coach, said that you are all out at practice each day. We had an epidemic last year while I was in Tennessee. It was a completely different environment and no vaccinations were available. Right now, we were in an entirely different setting. Although I won’t go into details, it is obvious that you all come here everyday for work. It would be obvious.

“So, I’ll just leave it at that. I won’t get caught up in political game of this or that.

For all NFL coaches and front-office executives as well equipment managers and scouts the vaccine must be obtained. The agreement with the NFL Players Association does not require that all players receive COVID-19 vaccinations. But, the rules for training camp and the entire season are more strict than those who have been vaccinated.

Atlanta has been vaccinated. Fully vaccinated, the Falcons.
