An auction house is willing to pay $2 Million for Aaron Judge’s historic HR Ball

JP Cohen of Memory Lane Inc. in Tustin said Wednesday to The Associated Press that he texted and emailed Cory Youmans who captured Judge’s landmark shot Tuesday night at Globe Life Field Arlington, Texas. Cohen claims Youmans hasn’t yet responded.

Cohen spoke to the AP by telephone on Wednesday, saying that he feels the offer is far too fair if he is willing to sell it.

Cohen had pledged previously to pay $2 million for Judge’s 62nd homer. He stated that his company is good friends with the Yankees, and would lend the ball to them for an exhibit. He said that the Yankees have displayed items from Memory Lane many times at Yankee Stadium.

Cohen stated, “We made an offer of $2million and that offer remains valid.”

Judge claimed that he had no possession of the home-run ball after the Yankees lost 3-2.

He said, “I don’t know where it’s at.” We’ll see what happens. It would be amazing to get it back but that’s just a souvenir for a fan. They have every right to what he did out there.

Youmans was one of 38,832 people who watched the baseball game at the 3 year-old ballpark.

Aaron Boone, the Yankees’ manager, gave Judge Wednesday off to prepare for the close of the regular season against Rangers.
