Australia v England: Eddie Jones names the squad for the three-Test series starting in July

Billy Vunipola, Danny Care and eight other uncapped players were included in England’s squad that will travel to Australia next month for three Tests.

Alex Dombrandt, Harlequins number 8, is hurt so Vunipola who last played in 2021 Six Nations returns.

The Scrum-half Care team is named, but Ben Youngs, England’s most captained male player, doesn’t travel with the squad.

The first test will take place in Perth on July 2, followed by matches at Brisbane on July 9 and Sydney on July 16.

Care, aged 35, won his last 84 caps in 2018. However, he played for England yesterday in the non-cap match against the Barbarians in Twickenham.

England was comfortably beaten 52-21 by 14-man Barbarians Twickenham on Sunday for their final game before travelling to Australia this summer.

England won three matches in Australia in 2016 with Eddie Jones in charge complete a series whitewash. It was the first win in a 3-0 series by a touring team in Australia since South Africa 1971.
