England’s back-rower Ben Earl signed an extension to his contract with Premiership club Saracens.

After progressing through the academy, the 24-year-old played his first game for Saracens on 16 June 2016. He has nearly 100 appearances for them.

He was named Premiership player for the season in 2021-22.

Earl made his England debut in the 2020 Six Nations, and has received 13 international caps.

Earl stated that Saracens is where I belong and that he was delighted to extend his contract.

“We have a hugely exciting journey ahead in the coming years. I’m determined and eager to play my part in ensuring we reach our goals.”

Earl has been a starter in all four matches this season for the unbeaten Saracens (who sit at top of the Premiership table) and has scored two try.

“His performances have been consistent over the last few years, but his game has gone on a different level at this campaign,” Mark McCall, Saracens director in rugby said.

“We are delighted that he will extend his time at club.”
