Bundesliga and NFL announce partnership to increase business in Germany and the U.S.

On Thursday, the National Football League and the German Bundesliga announced an agreement. This will allow two of the most successful sporting organizations in the world to work together to increase their market share.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, experts have been sharing knowledge in various areas. The NFL and DFL announced they will be increasing collaboration in production, programming and broadcast.

On Nov. 13, the NFL will host its first regular-season match in Germany at Munich’s Allianz Arena. Tom Brady The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Take on the Seattle Seahawks.

Germany will host one NFL regular season game over the next four seasons, alternately in Frankfurt and Munich.

Roger Goodell, NFL Commissioner, stated that the first regular season game in Germany this autumn also offers an opportunity to learn from and work with some of the most successful leagues in the world.

“The Bundesliga is a long-standing German league and one of Europe’s best.

“We look forward collaborating with DFL in a way that we believe will benefit both of us.”

The Bundesliga also opened an office in New York City in 2018, and many league teams travel North America in the off-season.

Donata Holpfen, DFL Chief Executive, said that “The DFL has always collaborated openly with leagues around the world to encourage the development of sport.”

“We look forward working closely with our NFL colleagues on a range of issues and gaining fresh insights, especially in regard to American sports.”
