Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (thigh), expected to play against Arizona Cardinals

Carolina Panthers Running back Christian McCaffreyThe following is a list of questionable players for Sunday’s match at home against the Arizona Cardinals Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the injury to his thigh is expected to prevent him from playing.

McCaffrey had missed 2 practices last week because of the quad injury. That is an indication that McCaffrey might not be fully recovered. McCaffrey returned to practice Friday, but only on a limited basis. He ran, cut, and caught passes in the 20 minutes that were open for media.

Matt Rhule, Panthers coach said that “he looked good out there today.” “Unless something happens, I’m sure that he will give everything he has to go. We are very optimistic.”

McCaffrey answered when McCaffrey was asked how he felt, and if he anticipated playing Sunday.

McCaffrey missed 23 of 33 games in the last two seasons because of injuries.
