Chris Cloete, Munster’s South African sidekick, will be moving to Premiership side Bath this summer.

After five seasons with the United Rugby Championship side, the 31-year old has signed a deal at Rec for 2022-23.

Before moving to Europe, he played in the Southern Kings, Western Province, and Pumas of his homeland.

He has appeared in eight matches this season and scored five tries.

“Chris will add a new dimension and a new dimension for an impressive group of backrow forwards. We remain focused on our primary recruitment focus, which is to increase power in the pack for next year. “Negotiations with second row forwards continue,” stated Tarquin MacDonald, chief executive of Bath.
