LOS ANGELES — Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. UzomahIf the team wins Super Bowl LVII, he will go in. He’ll go in with a whole tub of chili.
Uzomah stated that he would soak in Cincinnati-style chili on Thursday if the Bengals win against the Rams to become the first Super Bowl winner in franchise history. He indicated that he was serious about wearing swim trunks and taking a dip into the Cincinnati-associated culinary item.
Uzomah stated, “You put it into a swimming pool. I’ll dive in there to eat my food.”
This idea was born out of a conversation that took place on a podcast episode of Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take”, which will be released Friday. Uzomah was open to the idea of taking a chili bath after one of the podcast hosts suggested that he might.
“Easy,” Uzomah said. “100%.”
Uzomah talked about an epic Super Bowl celebration way before anyone even imagined Cincinnati could be playing for Lombardi Trophy. Uzomah stated, “I want that to be manifested.” “So, I have that positive image in me.”
His status for Sunday’s match against the Los Angeles RamsAs of Thursday afternoon, it was still unclear. After sustaining a sprained MCL to his left knee during the team’s win against Kansas City in January 30, Uzomah was unable to practice. Zac Taylor, Bengals coach said Uzomah will be evaluated until the end of this week to determine his status in Cincinnati for gameday.
