BEREA, Ohio — Cleveland Browns Wide receiver and kick returner Jakeem Grant Sr. ESPN has learned that the team suffered from a torn Achilles.
After injuring his Achilles during the drill, Grant was forced to be taken off the field and had to be escorted off. Sources say that the Achilles tear is still being confirmed by imaging.
Grant signed a three-year contract with the Browns this offseason to return kicks and punts. Grant also had a stellar training camp as a receiver from the slot.

Mike Priefer, Browns special team coordinator, said earlier this week that Grant would “transform” Cleveland’s return-game.
Demetric Felton will likely return kicks and punts for the Browns if Grant is not available.
