25 women have accused Watson of inappropriate behavior during massage sessions and sexual assault.

According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, the NFL will likely push for a suspension of at most one year.

Robinson’s decision will not be made until after the hearing has ended. There is no time frame. Watson has the right to appeal after she makes her decision. Roger Goodell, NFL commissioner could either decide to appeal or call in an independent ruler.

After the judge ruled that the petition must be amended with plaintiff’s name, one of the 25 lawsuits was dismissed. Watson and 20 other plaintiffs reached an agreement to settle the lawsuits.

Monday saw the amendment of one of the active civil lawsuits to name the Houston Texans As a defendant. Tony Buzbee, an attorney who once represented all 25 women, stated that the overwhelming evidence that showed Watson’s behavior was supported by Houston Texans is “incredibly damning”.

Two Texas grand juries declined to bring criminal charges against Watson in Texas earlier this year.

After the first grand jury declared it would not indict Watson, the Texans traded Watson for the Browns in March.
