COVID-19 outbreak in Denver Nuggets Forces postponement against the Golden State Warriors

The NBA has delayed the Golden StateDenverAfter COVID-related issues, the Nuggets have been unable to schedule a Thursday night game.

This is the 11th game that has been postponed for COVID-related reasons.

Sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Michael Malone, the Nuggets’ coach, entered the league’s safety and health protocols on Thursday.

The protocols are not the only issues the Nuggets have to deal with. Four players remain in question and the Nuggets are also dealing with injuries. Monte Morris, Aaron Gordon, Austin RiversAnd Vlatko Cancar.

Warriors for the future Draymond GreenHe took to social media in frustration at the delay.

“How do I cancel games after you’ve established rules to prevent this?” Green posted to Twitter. “Is that not a competitive edge for other teams?” We lost Tuesday’s game because we didn’t have the protocol list guys. Choose a side, but don’t try to be both.

“So, when the game has been rescheduled (which may take a few days from our “break”) we will play them at full force… They managed to win a game when we were not at our full strength two days ago. Let’s try to make this make sense.

Green indicated that the Warriors could be delayed to add a back-toback match to their schedule. “This is also an advantage Denver.”

Sources tell ESPN that David Adelman, assistant coach, will act as the head coach of the Nuggets while Malone is gone.

Malone joins Doc Rivers (Philadelphia), Frank Vogel (Lakers), Monty Williams (Phoenix), Billy Donovan (Chicago), Chauncey Billups (Portland) and Mark Daigneault (Oklahoma City) as NBA coaches who have entered the COVID-19 protocols.

The Denver Post reported the first time about Malone and Adelman.
