Scott Fitterer described Jackson’s 26th season as the corner’s best before he sustained a groin injury in Week 12. This put Jackson on injured reserve.
His career, since the Panthers selected him in 2018 as a second-rounder, has been plagued with injuries.
In 2020, he sustained a toe injury and hip and groin injuries. He also suffered a groin injury this year. His elite speed (4.21-40-yard dash at 2018, combine) and his excellent cover ability out of LSU leave him with plenty of upside.
He has 12 career interceptions and four as a rookie.
Fitterer stated that Jackson and the five-time Pro Bowl cornerback would be great additions to his team after the season. Stephon GilmoreAccused money may be an issue, but it could be back.
Jackson indicated that Carolina was Carolina’s home and he wanted Carolina to be his next destination after the season.
