After the dissolution of Wasps, Gabriel Oghre has been signed by the Leicester Tigers as a “short term deal”.
The Hooker was 24 years old and scored a try in Wasps’ last match, a loss to Northampton in October. entered administration , and were expelled from the Premiership.
In their final defeat by Exeter in the 2020 Premiership, Wasps’ Under-20 international was featured.
Oghre stated, “I look forward to being back at a rugby environment.”

Steve Borthwick, the Tigers’ head coach, stated that Oghre was an “excellent addition” to his team.
Oghre was a junior Bath player before joining Wasps. In September 2021 Eddie Jones called Oghre up to the England training squad. He has never won a senior international cap.
Borthwick declared, “Gabriel has an incredibly talented player.”
“At just 24 years old, he brings a wealth of experience to the Premiership and is a healthy competitor to our front-row ranks.”
