The victory over Scottish rivals Edinburgh saw Glasgow Warriors move third in the United Rugby Championship.

As Glasgow built a 17-10 halftime lead, Thomas Gordon scored a try to either side Glen Young’s reply.

Edinburgh was leveled again after Boan Venter’s converted score.

Josh McKay was at the finish of a counter by Warriors, and they increased their advantage to 30-17 to climb above Munster.

Ross Thompson and Duncan Weir scored a total of 15 points each for the hosts. Emiliano Boselli kicked seven goals for Edinburgh.

Edinburgh is currently fifth, two places behind Munster who will be facing the Lions this Saturday.
