Dallas scored a run in the third. They outscored the Warriors 15-2 in 3:51, cutting down the Mavericks’ 25 point deficit to seven.
However, the Warriors started the fourth quarter with a short run that allowed them to build a comfortable lead. The Warriors were able keep the Mavericks at arms length the rest of the game.
All five Warriors starters were in double-digits. Thompson’s offensive performance was the best of the series. Draymond Green He had his highest scoring game in the playoffs with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Also, he received nine assists. Andrew Wiggins While Kevon Looney There were 10 Stephen Curry Scored 15.
Thursday’s Game 5 was also an opportunity to showcase the Warriors’ depth. This was greatly needed.
