IhaiaWest scored a late goal to defeat Racing 92 resistance, and seal La Rochelle’s place in the Champions Cup final for the second time in as many years.

Racing was awarded the lead by a Nolann Le Garrec penalty as well as Virimi Vakatawa’s try, but Gregory Alldritt fought back to make it close before half-time.

Racing’s Cedate Gomes Sa and Camille Chat were both sin-binned following the break, as La Rochelle was awarded a penalty try.

La Rochelle led by two points and won victory. West scored late.
