LAS VEGAS — One witness said that firefighters were slow to extinguish a car fire that was sparked by a fatal crash. Authorities blame former Las Vegas RaidersLarge receiver Henry Ruggs IIIIn court, his lawyers said that he had submitted.
Ruggs, 22 years old, is accused of causing the accident by driving drunk at speeds up to 156 mph with his girlfriend in Corvette sports automobiles. This was before the predawn Nov. 2 crash. He was rescued by his friends hours later.
Tina Tintor, 23 years old, was laid to rest on Thursday at a Serbian Orthodox parish. Her funeral was followed by a private burial in a Las Vegas cemetary.
“Firemen didn’t attempt to extinguish Ms. Tintor’s hearth for approximately 20 minutes at which time your entire car was engulfed by flames,” protection lawyers Richard Schonfeld and David Chesnoff stated in Wednesday’s courtroom, submitting that this doesn’t make them a witness.

According to the statement, “The captain at the scene reported that the car was in total danger from the fireplace on arrival and that the passenger compartment was insurmountable for any one inside.”
Tintor relations said that they didn’t intend to give public feedback on the memorials. Sarah Thornton spokeswoman for Farhan Naqvi (household legal professional) stated that.
Tintor, who immigrated from Serbia as a baby, graduated high school in Las Vegas and worked at a Goal store. Tintor was said to be close to getting her U.S. citizen status by a friend last week. Her dog Max also died in the fire and crash.
Schonfeld and Chesnoff declined to make any further comments about Wednesday’s subpoena request for data from the fireplace division. Chesnoff understood that the trouble was a part their crash investigation. The witness told the attorneys that he was at home when he heard about the crash and went to check.
The court heard that firefighters were ready to extinguish the car’s fireplace even though it was still in its infancy stages and did not take action.
Ruggs already had felony DUI that led to death and reckless driving charges. He was also hit with additional reckless driving and felony DUI costs. A misdemeanor cost was added for Ruggs’ possession of a firearm while intoxicated on Wednesday. Ruggs could face additional jail time if convicted.
Clark County District Lawyer Steve Wolfson told reporters Wednesday, “The proof helps to a second-felony DUI cost.” “We are considering that Mr. Ruggs is his girlfriend.” [Kiara Je’nai Kilgo-Washington]Was significantly injured. If convicted, the previous first-round NFL draft pick faces no less than two years in jail. Wolfson stated that Ruggs could spend more than 50 years in prison if he is convicted.
Ruggs posted $150,000 bail, and is now under home arrest. He will also be subject to strict conditions and four-times-a day alcohol tests while the case continues.
Information indicates that he has a $1.1m house which he did not move from the accident site.
