SAN FRANCISCO — Memphis GrizzliesStar point guard will not be available Ja MorantDue to a right-leg injury, Monday night’s Game 4 was cancelled.
Taylor Jenkins, Grizzlies’ head coach, said that the team will continue to treat Morant’s knee problem day by day. Jenkins refused to reveal the results after the point guard had an MRI. Morant’s right knee soreness has been ruled out by the team.

Jenkins claimed that Morant and Grizzlies believed he was injured during a play in the fourth-quarter. Jordan PooleWhile trapping the point guard, Poole grabbed his knee and went for the basketball. Jenkins claimed that Poole pulled Morant’s knee while trapping him and that that was what caused the injury.
Morant noticed that his left leg was slightly in favor when he walked from the Chase Center to the team bus. While wearing slides, he didn’t do well at shootaround.
Morant will have just one day to get better before the Grizzlies play Game 5 at Memphis on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies were 20-5 without Morant, but they were outscored 32 times in the 29 minutes that Morant was not on the floor during the first three games.
Morant’s average stats in this second-round series are 38.3 points, 8.3 assists, and 6.7 rebounds.
