DETROIT — In his short NFL career this is the first time he’s done so. Buffalo Bills quarterback Jake FrommI took a photo with the opposing team at the end of the line.

Fromm was able to complete 8 of 13 passes for 65 yards. This included a 42 yard completion to rookie Marquez StevensonDuring that last drive, he was on fourth-and-10. The Bills had drafted him as their emergency quarterback for the first time in his career.
Sean McDermott of the Bills said “He’s been there before,” referring to Fromm’s Georgia experience. “And he doesn’t seem fazed at these moments.

From then, his everyday routine was far from normal. Fromm was made the Bills’ emergency quarterback. He practiced alone with the team but remained distant from his teammates at Orchard Park.
It was a five- to six month experience for me. Fromm explained that she had never been through something like this before. Although it was difficult, I never felt alone. All this knowing I’d see them soon. And that maybe all this work will be worth it one day.
I wanted to be prepared and, honestly, every single day, I went to work and told them, “Hey, let’s go! Be ready!” Here’s where I am, here’s where my feet are, lets go try our best and give everything my all.
Fromm stated that he knew Friday was coming and had it marked down on his calendar for a while. He also credited Bills practices at Highmark Stadium with helping him adapt to the NFL’s speed.
He also impressed his fellow teammates in limited actions, especially quarterback. Davis WebbFromm’s inability to get rid of two sacks early in the game and bounce back when it was most important.
Webb shared that it was exciting to watch Jake toss the long ball to Speedy in their NFL debut. Sometimes, a few plays don’t go your way. Jake wouldn’t be able to drive the first two drives. So, I won’t. Jake arrived in clutches so I am willing to put him on.”
Next week the Bills head to Chicago to take on the Bears in their preseason second game.
