Northampton Saints have signed James Ramm, an Australian winger, to the 2022-23 Premiership Season.
Ramm, 23 years old, joins Saints from Super Rugby side New South Wales Waratahs. Ramm has played 20 league games for them since his debut in 2020.
He represented Australia at 2018 World Rugby Under-20 Championship and was a member of senior training squads. However, he is also qualified to play rugby for England.

Ramm, a former gymnast, specializes in vault and floor disciplines. He has been studying bio-medical engineering throughout his Australian playing career.
Northampton's director, rugby Phil Dowson stated: “James, tall, strong, aggressive, and talented under high ball.
He's a great athlete, given his high-level gymnastics training. But he's also a superb rugby player.”
