The Dallas Cowboys Will not put Dak Prescott Jerry Jones, owner of the team, said that the quarterback has been placed on injured reserve and believes he “has a real shot” at returning within four weeks.
Jones provided an update on Prescott’s status in an interview with 105.3 The Fan, Tuesday, one day after Prescott. underwent right thumb surgery.
ESPN was told by sources that Prescott would miss six to eight more weeks. Jones however was more positive Tuesday.
He stated that Dak has a good chance of being back on the field throwing the ball quickly.
