Garoppolo still stands to earn $8.5 million in additional incentives this season. Even though it’s unlikely, Garoppolo would still need to be healthy and the Niners would need to win every remaining game to earn all of that, there are plenty of opportunities for Garoppolo to increase his already impressive bank account.
Garoppolo’s relaxed approach to his job will not be affected by any of this.
