England’s Six Nations match against Scotland has been disrupted further by Joe Marler’s positive Covid test.

Also, after Tuesday’s fire, the squad had to evacuate their hotel and move to a new one.

Marler has left this week’s training camp at Brighton and is now living in isolation.

It comes after injuries to wing Jonny MayCaptain Owen Farrell and Owen Farrell will both be absent for the first half of the tournament.

After Tuesday’s electrical fire, the team has relocated with support staff to a new hotel in Brighton.

Marler’s positive test was his second in less than two weeks. He missed the match with Australia in November after returning a positive result. But he was able to return to the bench and win against South Africa.

All of Eddie Jones’ staff and squad tested negative. However, forward Courtney Lawes, who was favourite to lead the side in Farrell’s absence, was unable to train due to concussion.

Scotland and England will meet at Murrayfield Saturday, 5 Feb.
