Kareem Abdul-Jabbar tweets birthday message for LeBron James

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James acquired one other birthday greeting after he turned 38 on Friday. This time from the person he’s chasing on the NBA’s all-time scoring listing: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Abdul-Jabbar, the Naismith Basketball Corridor of Famer and six-time NBA champion, shouted out LeBron on Saturday morning.

The 38,388 he’s referring to is the all-time factors complete, which might surpass Abdul-Jabbar’s report of 38,387 factors scored. Abdul-Jabbar performed for the Milwaukee Bucks and Lakers from 1969-89. He set the all-time NBA scoring mark in April of 1984, some eight months earlier than James was born.
