The Las Vegas Raiders Will place Darren Waller ESPN’s Adam Schefter was informed by a source that the star tight end will be placed on injured reserve. This move will keep him out of play for at least four more matches.

Waller was injured in his left hamstring and has been unable to play in Las Vegas’ three previous games. Waller, a former Pro Bowler, was limitedly present in Wednesday’s practice. However, Schefter was informed by a source that Waller had aggravated the injury and the Raiders placed him on IR.

Waller, 30 years old, also suffered a right hamstring injury during training camp, but he signed a $31 million, three-year extension with Raiders prior to the start of the new season.

A former sixth-round draft pick of the RavensWaller missed eight of the Raiders’ last 14 regular season games. In five games, he has 16 catches and 175 yards.
