Iain Henderson, Ulster captain, will not be able to play in his side’s United Rugby Championship match against Leinster due to a hamstring injury that could leave him out for a few weeks.
After inflicting damage during the warm up, Henderson had to pull out of Eire’s win over Argentina.
Although it wasn’t clear at the time what the downside of the lock was, Ulster stated on Tuesday that it was hamstring injury.
Ulster will face their inter-provincial opponents on the RDS Envionment.
Dan McFarland’s males will be aggressive in the match because it is the United Rugby Championship, which returns from a five-week hiatus.
Leinster are the leaders, having won all 5 matches in the first 12 months. Ulster comes in second with 4 wins out of 5 appearances.
Ulster lost their 100% start to the season in their final game. Connacht won 36-11 on Aviva Stadium.
McFarland’s males will begin their European marketing campaign to oppose Clermont at 11 December. Henderson could also be a potential damage doubt for that match.
