Manu Tuilagi, a Sale centre, has stated that he would love to play for England at 2023 Rugby World Cup. However, he must keep fit after suffering a series of injuries.

England and the Sharks reached an agreement that Tuilagi should have a rest period and a pre-season. This was in preparation for Friday’s start against Northampton.

Tuilagi stated that “we’ll see what happens,” to the BBC Rugby Union Weekly podcast.

“I would love to play!” [at the World Cup] For me, it’s keeping fit, training hard and playing well.

Tuilagi’s injury struggles have been a problem since England’s defeat by South Africa at the 2019 Rugby World Cup. He has made just six international appearances.

As he continues to recover from injury, Tuilagi was limited to eight Premiership appearances last season.

He said, “I just want out there.” “It was a hard pre-season. I didn’t do much. I was getting back from my knee. It was hard, but I’m now back and enjoying it.

“For me there is training and then there is the game. “I can’t wait.”
