Matthew Berry’s fantasy soccer 2022 rankings

It has been over a month since the 2021 fantasy season ended and already much has changed. With every news item and every rumor, with every game, with every play, the fantasy player value changes, even in the playoffs.

You don’t want too much faith in one game, but you can trust that a player is worth more than a few. Odell Beckham JrAfter suffering a terrible injury during the Super Bowl, it is different than after the NFC Championship.

Any other changes beyond this are for sentence structure, tense etc.

Among the players whose stock rose for me since I published my way-too-early-for-2022 rankings. Joe BurrowHe seemed to have taken his game to another level. Derrick HenryI also saw a healthy woman named Judith, who seemed just as happy to me. Cam Akers Darren Waller. Devin Singletary, Tee HigginsEvan MacPherson, and, of course: Gabriel Davisare among those players who saw their stock grow.

Do you still have faith in the Chiefs’ ability to run the game? Kyler MurrayLooked terrible in football. Then he unfollowed all Cardinals-related social media accounts and looked awful in real life. After their playoff losses, Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger, the Buccaneers’ and Steelers’ offensive fortunes, are certainly affected. And I don’t know about you, but the Saints without Sean Payton calling plays seems less interesting to me than the Steelers.

My opinions about some players have changed following the playoffs. They will also change and adapt a million more between now, and draft season in August. The NFL Draft, free agency and hearing from new coaches, staffs and players, players retiring, players returning, information out of OTA’s, outof training camps, a slew of other stuff that we haven’t thought of before. Also, as this is our world, any updates regarding the legal status of certain players will affect player values.

Because there is so much to be done, it is a challenge to rank. This is how I am doing it: I am ranking the NFL as of today. As of the writing, that is. Aaron RodgersThe Packers are still using it. Russell WilsonTom Brady remains retired and is still on the Seahawks.
