Flanker Michael Hooper, an Australia player, has been ruled out against Wales in the Autumn Nations series match on Saturday.

Hooper was concussed after suffering from concussion symptoms during the 13-10 defeat to Ireland.

Injuries to the Wallabies in Cardiff have decimated the Wallabies.

Hunter Paisami and Nic White were all hurt in Dublin. Taniela Tupu was also absent.

As the Wales game is outside World Rugby’s international windows, fly-half Bernard Foley as well as lock Will Skelton are not available.

Quade Cooper, Marika Coroibete and Samu Kerevi, Izackrodda, Matt Phillip, and Samu Gerevi are also unavailable or injured.

This means that the Wallabies now have 25 players who are fit enough to pick a 23-man squad against Wayne Pivac.

This will be Australia’s fifth Test in five consecutive weeks and the 14th international that they have played since July. Australia has won four of the nine matches so far and been defeated nine times.
