Police claim that the alleged battery occurred on Saturday. Officers were called to the hospital at 5:50 pm local time on Saturday. The victim had reported that she was being battered at South Las Vegas Boulevard’s nightclub.

Police later identified the suspect as Kamara.

According to police, Kamara was taken into custody and located without any problems Sunday evening. Kamara was taken to Clark County Detention Center, where he was charged with battery resulting from substantial bodily harm.

Kamara’s representatives, as well as the Saints, were not immediately available for comment.
