New Orleans SaintsRunning back Alvin KamaraAccording to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department he was arrested in Las Vegas just after Sunday’s Pro Bowl for a battery offense.
Police claim that the alleged battery occurred on Saturday. Officers were called to the hospital at 5:50 pm local time on Saturday. The victim had reported that she was being battered at South Las Vegas Boulevard’s nightclub.
Police later identified the suspect as Kamara.
According to police, Kamara was taken into custody and located without any problems Sunday evening. Kamara was taken to Clark County Detention Center, where he was charged with battery resulting from substantial bodily harm.
Kamara’s representatives, as well as the Saints, were not immediately available for comment.
Kamara, 26 years old, is one of the NFL’s most prominent running backs. Kamara, 26, has been named Offensive Rookie and the Year in 2017 after being selected to the Pro Bowl for each of his five seasons. Sunday’s game saw him play, with 4 catches for 23 yard.
