Sources say that the New Orleans Saints have signed LB Demario Davis to a one-year extension.

The New Orleans Saints Signed standout linebacker Demario Davis League sources confirmed to ESPN’s Field Yates that the extension would be extended for one-year through 2024.

According to sources, Davis will be able to earn an additional $18million over the next three season under the new deal. This comes after the Saints increased his two year contract. Davis can receive $2 million in incentives each of the three seasons. In addition, he has a $10,000,000 salary and a $2,000,000 roster bonus for the 2024 league season.

Sources said that Davis’ 2023 base salary was reduced by $250,000 while the Saints offered a workout bonus of the same amount for 2023 and fully guaranteed $1,000,000 of his $8.25million base salary.

Davis will have additional security as a result of the deal. He was asked about his contract during last week’s Saints minicamp.

Davis has been one of the Saints most respected and successful players since his arrival in New Orleans in 2018. Davis has been an All-Pro for each of the last three seasons.
