LAS VEGAS – The NFL’s Pro Bowl has opened its first location in Las Vegas in its 71-year history. This is a city known for gambling and excess.
The game takes place at the corner Dean Martin Drive and Al Davis Way. Raiders“Allegiant Stadium” is not only a new marriage between the NFL and one of its longtime maverick teams, but it also represents a partnership between both the NFL and the legalized gambling home. Although Las Vegas wasn’t allowed to advertise itself on Super Bowl broadcasts until a few years ago, the Pro Bowl is just one of a series of events that will be held at the gambling mecca. The next two-year-old event includes the NFL draft on April and Super Bowl LIII on February 24th.
