Ravens

Here are some things to consider: The Ravens demonstrated that they are capable of winning a game. The Ravens defense recovered with authority after their worst fourth-quarter collapse, and produced three turnovers in the final quarter. Cornerback Marlon HumphreyThe fourth quarter was shortened by a groin strain that kept Corey Johnson from playing. Mac Jones in the endzone. Then, rookie first-round pick Kyle HamiltonA week ago, he gave up two touchdowns during the fourth quarter. He took the ball from Nelson Agholor There are 5:35 seconds left. After failing to maintain a 21-point advantage against Miami, the Ravens could have fallen apart. Baltimore is now at 2-1 and has big games against Cincinnati and Buffalo.

Who will protect? Lamar JacksonIs that the blind side of life? After their third-string left tackle, the Ravens were back down to their fourth. Patrick Mekari In the first quarter, Mekari was injured to his left ankle and had to leave. Mekari was about to start his second straight match. Ronnie Stanley (ankle) is still inactive, and Ja’Wuan Jam sustained a season-ending Achilles injury during the season opener. The injury forced Ja’Wuan James to retire as a fourth-round rookie. Daniel Faalele He will now play left tackle, which he did not play in college. Stanley is expected to make his debut on Sunday against the Ravens. Buffalo Bills. After breaking his left ankle, Stanley missed 31 of Baltimore’s 32 previous games (including the playoffs). He has been practicing for the past three weeks. — Jamison Hensley

Next game: vs. Bills (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET)

Patriots

Here are some things to consider: Although the Patriots offense showed promise, QB Mac JonesTwo throws in the second period (both INTs), were made by the offense and stymied their chances of winning. This was the worst offense, especially with regards to the downfield passing game. DeVante Parker He had 156 receiving yard. Jones’ interceptions in the second half were too great to overcome. Nelson Agholor lost fumble. Jones was hobbled off of the field after suffering what appeared to have been a left leg injury during his last pass of the day. He finished 22-of 32 for 323 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions. In particular, Jones’ end zone heave was intercepted midway through fourth quarter. This was not the kind of decision that you would expect. This can make the difference between winning and losing.

Why is it not WR? Kendrick Bourne Do you want to play more? Kendrick Bourne was the Patriots’ second leading receiver last season. He played only 20 snaps during the game, which is an unofficial total. It was significantly less than Parker (66), which is a notable difference. Lil’Jordan Humphrey Agholor (53) and Humphrey (53) The most striking difference between Humphrey (0 catches), and Bourne (4 catches at 58 yards) is that Humphrey wasn’t as dynamic a player as Bourne. — Mike Reiss

Next game: Packers, Sunday 8 p.m. ET)

Panthers

Here are some things to consider: The Carolina defense is real, despite being ranked ninth in the league. This unit was able to win despite only forcing one turnover in the first two games. Sunday’s turnovers came finally, with a 44 yard fumble return for touchdown in quarter one to make up another poor performance from quarterback. Baker Mayfield This win ends a nine-game losing streak which was the longest running streak in the NFL. The Panthers also added a fourth-quarter intercept to set up a field goal, and another to secure the win with eight seconds left. They kept quarterback Jameis Winston under constant pressure. The run defense that was shut down New York Giants Running back Saquon Barkley Last week was Alvin Kamara After a quick 27-yard run, the unit was in control. This unit had one goal: to be great. Sunday’s performance was a good indicator that it is on the right track.

Baker Mayfield, the starter, how secure should he be? Mayfield did not play a role in the Panthers’ victory, however. He put up a subpar performance for the third time in a row, but a missed tackle was turned into a touchdown catch-and run of 67 yards by Laviska Shenault Jr. in the fourth period. Mayfield was previously 9-of-20 for just 76 yards. He finished 12-of-25 for 170 yards. Mayfield was awarded the starting position. Sam Darnold It was not that close in training camp. Darnold will be placed on injured reserve for next week’s game against Arizona. Mayfield is struggling so it may open the door to a possible change. — David Newton

Next game: vs. Cardinals (Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET)

Saints

Here are some things to consider: The Saints’ offense continues its struggles. The Saints’ offense against the Panthers was a mix of penalties, turnovers and protection issues. Some nice moments included wide receiver Chris Olave He became the Saints’ first rookie to record more than 100 receiving yards since 2018. Marquez Callaway In the fourth quarter, he made a single-handed touchdown grab in traffic. However, fourth-quarter efforts were not enough. If the Saints are to win this season, they must play consistent offense for an entire match.

Do the Saints need to make a shift at QB? Jameis WinstonSince Week 1’s back injury,’s play was a concern. Things have not improved. Dennis Allen, Saints’ coach, stated that he had never considered making a change against the Bucs in Week 2. However, considering how Week 3 went, it could prove difficult to make tough decisions. Although Winston’s offensive issues are not all his fault, it is hard to believe that his back problem will improve before next week, especially considering the long trip to London. Make a difference to Andy DaltonEven if Winston needs to rest, it might spark the offense. Katherine Terrell

Next game: vs. Vikings (Sunday at 9:30 a.m. ET)

Bengals

Here are some things to consider: Cincinnati’s offense received a much-needed boost in the 27-12 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. New York Jets. After failing to score a touchdown in the first two games of the season, the Bengals offense scored two touchdowns on Sunday, and they jumped on the Jets very early. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow At the end of 2021, he looked even better than he did in 2021. This was the performance Cincinnati needed in order to win the first game of the season.

Is there any concern regarding the running game? It might be time to start worrying about the ground attack. It has been ineffective throughout three games. Cincinnati was unable to run back against New York on Sunday. Joe MixonThis has resulted in a poor performance against light defensive boxes. When Samaje Perine He entered the game during the fourth quarter and quickly outpaced Mixon’s 24 yards in 12 carries. It will be interesting to see how the season develops. — Ben Baby

Next game: vs. Dolphins, Thursday, 8:15 PM ET)

Jets

Here are some things to consider: In 2022, the Jets were expected to be more defensive in their defense. To improve an unit that ranked 32nd last year, they spent a lot of free-agent money. It isn’t working as the defense continues to struggle Sunday against the Bengals, 27-12. Jets thought they could join the club, but smelled blood. Joe Burrow The sack party was a success, with only two sacks. They also got shredded for 275 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Burrow was sacked 13 times during the first two games and rushed for 163 yards in the first quarter. Bad tackling, costly penalties and the weekly coverage mix-up were all factors that led to the Jets’ first three touchdowns. The Bengals’ pass-heavy attack caught them off guard and they never recovered. The frustration reached its peak when DT Quinnen Williams Aaron Whitecotton, defensive line coach, was captured on camera screaming at him.

It is Zach Wilson Are you ready to make a comeback? Yes and no. Sources said that Wilson, who missed the three first games because he was recovering from arthroscopic surgery to his knee, should be cleared in the next days. This means that Wilson should be ready for Sunday’s Steelers game. That’s it. There is no quarterback controversy. Joe FlaccoOut of miracle finishes, he committed three turnovers, but couldn’t escape from the rush (four tackles). Wilson’s agility will be a benefit to the offensive line but he’ll also be joining an offense that still hasn’t established its running game. This could prove to be a challenging year for Wilson, the second-year quarterback. — Rich Cimini

Next game: Steelers (Sunday at 1 p.m. ET)

Joe Burrow passes a touchdown to Ja’Marr Chase, extending their lead to 27-9 over the Jets.

Colts

Here are some things to consider: The offensive struggles of the Colts continued against Kansas City but Indianapolis overcame an early-season theme and scored their best moment of season for coach Frank Reich. Matt Ryan. After being beaten by the Chiefs throughout the day, the Colts won the game and defeated the Chiefs to make it 1-1-1.

Despite their blocking problems, can the Colts maintain any offensive consistency? This season has seen more offensive line problems for the Colts than any other period in Reich’s time with the team. Ryan (five sacks), who is immobile, is having trouble coping with the constant pressure. His seven fumbles are the most in three games since Mike Vick, when he had seven. The Colts must be more consistent in order to achieve any consistency. — Stephen Holder

Next game: vs. Titans (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET)

Chiefs

Here are some things to consider: Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes This offense and the rest of it won’t always have the ability to make up for all of their mistakes. Mahomes was 21-of-35 for 262 yard, a touchdown, and a late-game intercepton Sunday. The Chiefs were guilty of several errors, including missed kicks and a fumbled pass. The Chiefs still have much to do before the game in Tampa Bay next week.

Are the Chiefs concerned about their special teams or not? It is unlikely. However, it is worth paying attention to the situation. Skyy Moore Had a tough day as a punt returninger Matt Ammendola A field goal was missed in Indianapolis and an extra-point kick was missed in Indianapolis. Moore, a rookie who did not return punts in college and was unfamiliar to the Chiefs, could be on the learning curve. He should be able to improve his judgement as he gains experience. He will also see a positive change in his kicking ability. Harrison Butker He has recovered from an ankle injury. If Butker isn’t ready to return, the Chiefs could have a new kicker next Week to replace Ammendola. — Adam Teicher

Next game: Buccaneers, Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET)

Titans

Here are some things to consider: The Titans were able to get Derrick Henry Going was a great way to make the most of everything else. Henry ran with a different sense urgency and separation, which allowed him to complete runs with more speed. Henry finished the game with 20 runs for 85 yards and one touchdown, as well as five receptions of 58 yards. Tennessee’s success at the ground was a catalyst for the play-action pass game. Ryan TannehillHis longest completion was off play action. He made a perfectly placed pass. Robert Woods For 41 yards, the Titans’ second touchdown was set up. Tannehill also hit the play-action line for his touchdown pass. Geoff Swaim For a quick 2-yard score on Tennessee’s first drive. Henry also enjoyed play action on three out of five of his receptions, one less than his single-game career record.

How will the secondary of the Titans look going forward? The Titans opened the game with Kristian Fulton And Roger McCreary Cornerback. McCreary stepped inside. Terrance Mitchell He was at the left corner of Titans’ first nickel package. Mitchell was spotted out there, instead of the 2021 first-round pick. Caleb Farley It was not surprising that Mitchell was taken off the Patriots practice squad earlier in week. Mitchell gave up a 9-yard touchdown to Mack Hollins This almost tied the game at the end. This is alarming because Farley was initially the starter opposite Fulton in Titans training camp, before McCreary jumpedfroggged him into the lineup. Ugo Amadi Farley was replaced by Farley, who became part of the first nickel package. The nickel opened the year. They’ll have to find the right combination next week against Colts because they’ve allowed back-to-back 300-yard passes from the Titans. Turron Davidnport

Next game: Colts (Sunday at 1 p.m. ET)

Raiders

Here are some things to consider: The Raiders, a playoff-winning team under former management, have yet to win a game under this new regime. Josh McDaniels, the first-year coach, has stated since arriving in Las Vegas that his team must learn how to win. The only way to win is to learn how not lose. The Raiders have a solid roster and a great work ethic but they aren’t reaping the rewards. Their frustration is starting to show, even though the Titans nearly made a comeback. The season ended with a disappointing third loss, this time by just one point.

Is it over with the season after three weeks? Stranger things have occurred, but only one team has ever started a season 0-3 in 2000 and gone on to make it to the playoffs: The 2018 Texans. Raiders made it to the playoffs last season after they added the best receiver in the league and upgraded their coaching staff. Davante Adams, to no avail. McDaniels has a mere 5-20 record as a head coach. He started in Denver at 6-0 in 2009. The Broncos play next, before a Monday night game in Kansas City. Is McDaniels really 0-5 at this bye? — Paul Gutierrez

Next game: vs. Broncos (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET)

Bears

Here are some things to consider: These are the same concerns regarding this offense and the quarterback. Justin Fields It exists despite Chicago’s second win of the season. Fields finished the day with 82 yards of net passing. He also had two fumbles, and two interceptions. Fields had a first interception. Equanimeous St. Brown They were able to open the doors outside to celebrate what would have been an important touchdown, if they had connected. Fields completed the second pass. Darnell Mooney He was surrounded three times by defenders. Given the way the game was called, it is clear that the Bears have concerns regarding their quarterback’s ability and execution of this offense.

Can the Bears keep their defense and run game intact with so many issues with Fields? Khalil Herbert Rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns instead of David MontgomeryHe suffered injuries to his right ankle and knee in the first quarter, and he left the game. The Bears’ run game was the success factor in this offense’s back-to-back weeks. With 281 yards and a quarterback who completed just eight passes, it’s going be difficult to win many games with an offense that is so one-dimensional. Chicago’s defense was able to make big stops every week, including a late intercept. Roquan Smith This allowed the Bears field goal to win. That unit is the best way to stay afloat while things get sorted out in the passing game. Courtney Cronin

Next game: Giants (Sunday, 13:00 p.m. ET)

Texans

Here are some things to consider: Three rookies in Texas showed promise during the loss. Safety Jalen Pitre intercepted Bears quarterback Justin Fields He added two more tackles for loss and a sack to his arsenal. Running back Dameon Pierce As the Texans’ runner, Pierce finished with 80 yard and his first career rushing touchdown. Pierce did make two mistakes, however, and that should be rectified if he is to improve on his performance. No. No. Khalil Herbert The third quarter.

When will run defense get better? The Texans run defense is failing badly, allowing 280 yards rushing as well as two touchdowns. Herbert, who had 20 runs for 157 yards and Herbert scored both touchdowns. Through the first three week, the Texans allowed 607 yards of ground. Fields was held to 106 yards by the Texans’ pass defense, and two interceptions were made by them. Houston could not stop the Bears running the ball. This was their only way to defeat the Texans. As a result, the Texans are still looking for their first win of this year. — DJ Bien Aime

Next game: Chargers vs. ET (Sunday, at 1 p.m. ET)

Eagles

Here are some things to consider: As Carson Wentz The Eagles defense discovered its strengths the hard way. Wentz was sacked nine times, six of them in the first period. This is a record for him. All of the punishment clearly affected Wentz, as he was often inconsistent even in rare cases when his pocket was clean. Although the Eagles’ defense was poor against the Lions in their opener, they have been great the past two week. With Jalen Hurts Philadelphia is a legitimate contender thanks to its solid defense and playing well.

Who is the No. Who is the No. A.J. Brown In Week 1, he was able to make 10 catches and run for 155 yards. DeVonta Smith Since then, he has been a star. He finished the game with a career-high 169 yards, a touchdown and several acrobatic catches against Washington. His 156 receiving yards in the first half was the highest by an Eagles player since Kevin Curtis back in 2007. Brown and Smith can be stacked in any order, but the Eagles haven’t been so well-equipped at receiver since Terrell O’Neal was here. Tim McManus

Next game: Jaguars vs. ET (Sunday, at 1 p.m. ET)

Commanders

Here are some things to consider: Washington wanted to establish a dominant offensive force. The Commanders failed and the result is: Carson Wentz He was fired nine times on Sunday. It was more than just a loss for the line. Wentz felt the consequences of the loss. He is unable to escape so he must keep the ball. Due to pressures, he was quick on his throws. Washington does not have a power run game, so Washington doesn’t have another option. The Commanders need more than good receivers to beat quality teams.

Where is the team going? Washington has been terrible in four of its six quarters. It has allowed large plays, but produced very little offense. Although it is early and the Commanders are currently 1-2, it is fair to wonder about what will happen if they lose at Dallas on Sunday. It is not about losing anyone’s jobs but about the direction the season. Their offensive line was poor and their defense needs a playmaker in its back seven. Washington is facing a difficult time. — John Keim

Next game: Cowboys (Sunday at 1 p.m. ET)

Dolphins

Here are some things to consider: The Dolphins dominated the AFC East despite the Bills trying their best to keep Miami’s offense off the field. They ran an incredible 90 plays to the Dolphins’ 39 and held the ball for 20 additional minutes. The Dolphins’ explosive offense showed the world how quickly they can change the outcome in six plays. Third-and-22 was facing the quarterback Tua Tagovailoa found receiver Jaylen Waddle Splitting Bills backup safetyties for a 45-yard gain Jaquan Johnson Damar Hamlin to set up the go-ahead touchdown. Although their performance was not what the fans expected, considering Buffalo’s defense of 212 yards, Tagovailoa still proved he could push the ball downfield efficiently. He completed all three passes of 20+ air yards. Miami might have some ideas.

What can the Dolphins win streak extend? The Dolphins are off to a strong start to the season, with three straight wins. This includes a victory over Super Bowl favorites Buffalo. The Bengals will be their next opponent, along with the Steelers (Jitters), Steelers, Vikings and Steelers), Bears, Browns, Texans, Steelers, Steelers, Lions and Bears. It’s possible that Miami could win 10 before they enter a tough December schedule. — Marcel Louis Jacques

Next game: at Bengals (Thursday, 8:15 p.m. ET)

Bills

Here are some things to consider: The Buffalo Bills We were unable overcome injuries and missed chances in losing a close match to the Miami Dolphins. Six Bills players were unable to start a game due to injury. Seven others had to be substituted or withdrawn. Quarterback Josh AllenThe Bills stopped a punt to safety and a safety. However, the Bills were unable to stop a late comeback attempt by.

What next for a Bills secondary team that has been injured? Safety is a huge problem for the Bills in their secondary going forward. Micah Hyde Safety and a neck injury keep you out of the season Jordan Poyer Cornerback (foot) Dane Jackson (neck) and rookie cornerback Christian Benford (hand) Dealing with different injuries Nickelback Taron Johnson The only player who is able to play in the defensive backfield is a healthy one. It may be necessary to look outside for help. The Bills have not allowed more than three completions of 20 air yards per game since the beginning of the 2021 season. However, they did allow three to the Dolphins on Sunday. — Alaina Getzenberg

Next game: at Ravens (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET)

Tua Tagovailoa throws an laser pass to River Cracraft in order to bring the Dolphins together.

Vikings

Here are some things to consider: From Week 2, when their offense didn’t get off the mat, the Vikings took a huge step. Philadelphia Eagles They were able to take an early lead. Sunday saw the Lions take a 14-0 lead in the second quarter, then a 24-14 lead midway through the fourth. However, the Vikings scored 14 more points to win the game, with the best player being quarterback. Kirk Cousins Profited from mismatches between No. 3 receiver K.J. Osborn. This team has a huge difference between 2-1 vs 1-2.

How long will it take? Dalvin Cook Be out! Cook sustained a shoulder injury in the third quarter. He was quickly taken out of the game. Cook is a veteran of dealing with injuries. This is why the Vikings have backup. Alexander Mattison Cook will remain on the team’s roster, rather than trading him. Cook is still a very special player. On Sunday, Cook ran for 94 yards with a touchdown and 17 carries. Kevin O’Connell, Vikings’ coach, stated that Cook is fine. — Kevin Seifert

Next game: Saints (Sunday, 9:15 a.m. ET)

Lions

Here are some things to consider: Although the Lions had an opportunity to end their ‘Same Old Lions” label, they failed to break through with a 10-game winless streak on the road that included back-to-back victories. They came out of Minnesota with just a 1-2 record after giving up a 10 point lead in the third quarter. Quarterback Jared Goff 277 yards of passing – with a TD & interception – while running back Jamaal Williams K.J. Osborn’s 45-second TD was a blow to Detroit’s chance to change a culture that is losing.

Are these the Jared Goff fans can expect? Goff may not be considered one of the top quarterbacks in the league but, despite his late interception Sunday, he is still one of the most talented players on the roster. Goff had the Lions in a position to win on the road, with a 10-point lead in the third quarter. However, the Lions could not close the victory. Goff’s improvements are due to Ben Johnson’s strong offensive line and creative playcalling. Eric Woodyard

Next game: Seahawks vs. ET (Sunday, at 1 p.m. ET)

Thursday

Browns

Here are some things to consider: Amari Cooper Browns continue to have the No. They have the No. 1 receiver they so desperately need. Cooper was the first Browns player to record more than 100 yards receiving in nine years and a touchdown receiving in back-toback games. Cooper and quarterback Jacoby Brissett They have found their rhythm together, which makes the Browns’ offense much more than its famed running game.

Can the Browns overcome their defensive attrition? On Thursday, several key defensive players were lost in Cleveland. Anthony Walker, linebacker for Cleveland, had to be removed from the field after sustaining a left knee injury. Another linebacker in the starting lineup, Jeremiah Owusu-KoramoahAfter sustaining a groin injury, she had to report to the locker room. Defensive tackle Taven Bryan (hamstring), was also hurt. Jadeveon Clowney (ankle), was already out. But the Browns have enough talent and will overcome these injuries. Even with many talented opposing QBs on the schedule. Jake Trotter

Next game: Falcons (Sunday, at 1 p.m. ET)

Steelers

Here are some things to consider: This is the second consecutive week without T.J. WattThe Steelers’ pass rush was lackluster and the Steelers ran defense allowed 171 yards. Watt will likely be back at the Steelers’ end of October. They need to solve their defensive problems. It’s likely that Watt will not return before the end of October.

Can the offense sustain its first half production? On Thursday, it was no. However, the Steelers proved they could move the ball efficiently in the first period. Mitch Trubisky In the first half, 9 of 13 were completed, including a 36 yard completion. George PickensThis was the longest passing play in the entire season. The Steelers also outran Browns by 88 yards to 79 yards at halftime. Trubisky ran 5-of-8 for 34 yards in the third quarter. The Steelers also managed just 16 rushing yards from five carries. Mike Tomlin stated after the loss that he did not consider a change of quarterback or playcaller. However, the Steelers must make adjustments to continue to build on their momentum from the first half. — Brooke Pryor
