It’s Week Three of the NFL 2022 Season regular season Teams are becoming extremely sophisticated in their postgame social media trolling.
The phrase “hold the L” is one timeless, to-the-point thing you can say to another team. Although it’s easy to say, it has the power to end any protestations by the losing side. You think the referees were against your team? Hold this L. Too much injury on your side of the field? Hold this L. Sun was shining in your eyes. Hold this L. This just brings back the reality that you lost the game despite all rationalizations.
You don’t, of course. You can find it here It doesn’t end there. You can get L-holding in many different ways. An L can be sent to you. You can write it on your own field. There are so many options. We salute two of the Week 3 winning teams for going above and beyond on social media.
These are the top trolls of Week 3.
To hand the Commanders this particular letter, the Eagles had to win just one quarter. This was the second quarter where they scored all of the points. Jalen Hurts FedEx Field, which was described as “friendly”, added an additional layer of insult after the game.

We’re always up for a troll with mascots in highly unlikely circumstances. This Bengal tiger is preventing this jet from taking flight. But it doesn’t matter. The image makes the point.

Although the Falcons won a close game against the Seahawks in the end, the real story was the mysterious drone that hovered overhead and delayed the game. Atlanta’s social media team seemed able to figure out what was going on.

Folks, Jaguars are a great sport. Arrived With this dominant performance. Their postgame Twitter trolling was a brilliant combination of understatement and a dig at Los Angeles’ Chargers’ move.
