NHL fines John Hynes, Nashville Predators’ coach, $25,000 for indecent conduct

NEW YORK — New York’s NHL has suspended the NHL. Nashville PredatorsCoach John Hynes was fined $25,000 for his inappropriate behavior at the conclusion of Washington’s 4-1 loss.

The fine was announced by the league on Thursday.

Hynes received a game misconduct after Tuesday night’s loss at Nashville. It was the Predators third straight loss. Hynes also received four penalties prior to the game misconduct.

The Predators are currently in the Western Conference’s first wild-card slot. They are the NHL’s leaders in both minor (192) or major (33) penalties. Additionally, their average of 12.9 minutes per game is league-leading.
