Sean Couturier of the Philadelphia Flyers is recovering from an injury and will be evaluated again during training camp

PHILADELPHIA Philadelphia Flyers center Sean Couturier The injury was not disclosed and the team stated Monday that it would be reviewed during training camp.

He is considered to be week-to-week.

Couturier’s injury was not reported by the Flyers.

Couturier had back surgery in February, and was unable to play the remainder of the season. Couturier signed a six-year, $62million contract extension in 2021. He finished the season with 17 points and 29 games.

John Tortorella, the Flyers’ offseason coach, was hired by them in preparation for what is likely to be a rebuilding-year. Alain Vigneault & Mike Yeo managed a 25-46-11 record for the Flyers last season, which was last in Metropolitan Division.
