Sidney Crosby, who did no play in Game 6 against the New York Rangers, skated alongside the Pittsburgh PenguinsMike Sullivan, coach, spoke on Saturday.

ESPN was informed by sources that Crosby was left out of Friday’s 5-3 defeat. with a concussion. The Penguins only stated that he was injured in the upper body after he took a hard hit from Rangers’ defenseman Jacob TroubaOn Wednesday, Game 5 will be played.

Crosby was present at the optional practice, but he did not wear a non contact jersey. However, Sullivan could not confirm if Crosby is cleared for contact. Crosby also skated Friday individually with Ty Hennes, his skills coach.

Crosby scored nine points against the Rangers in the five first games.

Saturday also saw the return of starting goaltender Tristan JarryDue to injury, he is not able to play in this playoff series. Rickard RakellAfter taking a serious hit, he hasn’t played since the first game.

Sullivan did confirm to reporters that all players would be travelling to New York for Game 7 Sunday.
