With a dominating 42-15 win against Worcester, Harlequins, the Premier 15s champions, moved up to third.
As Heather Cowell and Lagi Tuima, Heather Cowell and Izzy Mayhew crossed within the first 23 minutes, it looked like the hosts were on their way to a bonus point in the first half.
However, Worcester’s defense held strong for the remainder of the half. The Warriors scored in the rearranged fixture thanks Sarah Nicholas’ boot.
Quins kept going with four more tries following the break to secure a comfortable win.
The hosts got their bonus points when England’s Amy Cokayne crossed the line and Tuima crossed again. Sarah Beckett was also on the scoresheet, as were Jade Mullen.
El Febrey’s attempt and Lydia Thompson’s solo effort were impressive signs that Worcester was fighting back, but Worcester’s eighth-placed side was doomed to their 10th consecutive defeat.
The Quins are currently in the top-four playoff spots, with five games remaining.
