Worcester Warriors began their Premier15s campaign by surprising 28-14 victory away over Harlequins at Stoop, who were semi-finalists last season.
Vicky Laflin, the visitor’s goalkeeper, doubled their lead in the third minute.
After the break, Quins came back but Worcester was able to score a third from Charlotte Wright-Haley. Laflin secured the bonus point with her second attempt.
Champions Saracens opened with a win of 34-21 over Loughborough Lightning.

Lauren Bolger made Loughborough score the first try after an impressive backs move. May Campbell, however, brought Sarries level.
Campbell scored a second prior to the break, while Kelsey Clifford got twice in the second-half for the hosts’ advantage.
Bolger scored Loughborough’s second goal and Bolger added an intercept try to make it three.
Campbell won her hat-trick, and Georgia Emily Evans scored in 81 minutes to secure the bonus-point win for Saracens.
