After Paolo Odogwu’s stoppage time try, the Wasps pulled off an amazing comeback to beat Exeter at Sandy Park.

After first-half tries by Lewis Pearson, Jack Innard and Tom O’Flaherty as well as Richard Capstick’s early try in the second half, Chiefs looked at ease. The hosts held a 26-8 advantage.

England lock Joe Launchbury, and flanker Alfie Bartley both crossed.

Odogwu had scored the first try and had the last word.

Deep into the added time, Odogwu, a winger, was able to get in at the corner and secure a bonus-point win after he had held the ball for more that seven minutes.

Exeter lost their third successive Premiership match. However, they were awarded two bonus points after scoring four tries.

After being released by England, the hosts had made seven changes to their show. Wasps however had Barbeary start at number 8 after Barbeary was released.
